eLandings Test Program |
eLandings is the Interagency Electronic Reporting system for reporting commercial fishery landings in Alaska. This system is being developed as a joint effort of the Alaska Department of Fish and Game (ADF&G), the International Pacific Halibut Commission (IPHC), and the National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS), with funding provided through the Pacific States Marine Fisheries Commission (PSMFC).
The eLandings test server provides a test environment similar to the production system. During development test versions of various system components are available here. The following components are available for testing:
Processor User Registration - before users can begin using the system to report landings they must request a userid and password. The User Registration page allows new users to request authorization to use the system, and reserve a particular userid. Before the userid is enabled for use the requestor must print out and sign their request form. The form must be submitted to the ADF&G, IPHC, or NMFS where the information is reviewed and the access is granted.
eLandings Web Reporting System - the web system will allow users to report fishery landings. The web pages will collect the necessary data, and will allow users to submit the reports to all the agencies needing it. Users can enter the specific data on a series of web pages, submitting it as an offical report when complete. Alternately, the system will allow users to import theiir data in a specified XML format, reducing the keying effort if the data is available in electronic form.
eLandings Agency Workstation - the agency workstation software runs on agency user PCs. It provides functions that the ADF&G, IPHC, and NMFS personnel will use to manage the system and the data in submitted landing reports prior to its transmission to their own agency systems. The link downloads the software to your workstation using Web Start technology. The link should automatically download and install the software on you workstation. Browser compatibility issues may prevent a successful installation. If you experience problems with the installation contact your steering committee representative.
The eLandings TEST program has documented test procedures for use in
testing the system. The current versions of all supporting documents
for the TEST environment are now stored on our Web bulletin
Confluence. Please click on the link below and select the attachment

have access to JIRA and believe you need it please contact your
steering committee representative.
